Singapore: The Copycat Nation

Viogger discovered that...

"It seems like it is a trend for the Singapore media to report on things that glorified Singapore "achivements". What it lacked in its report is that similar products have been avaliable elsewhere for quite sometime already and Singapore has been lacking behind in such developments. In the US, I've been eating Lipton’s Chicken Fried Rice whenever I need a quick meal and it was recommend to me by my ex-roommate 3 years ago."

He's referring to the Channel News Asia's report on Yummy Rice, a pre-mixed rice invention developed by two Singapore Polytechnic students. Makes me wonder if we can ever have creative commons license on ideas such as these.
