I am a working Singaporean, taking both modes of transport every day to get to my workplace. Ever so frequently, I am late. Why? Because the train is either too packed or it breaks down every other day. The bus doesn't arrive on time, is too packed or too slow. I'm so fed up! I encourage all of you disgruntled commuters to send in your photos, comments and stories to this blogpost. Just feel free to send it to the comments section, I will upload them at the next following time I am online

Though it’s not wrong, it just show how unefficient is our current transport system. And more people will take this route since we are too fed up with the current situation of being sardine-packed by SMRT and the inconsistent arrival time of SBS bus.
And the next thing you will know is that the normal services will also increase their price all for the reason of improving their QOS."

Yesterday, Singapore’s exchange market was rife with speculation about a possible merger of the two land transport giants: ComfortDelGro and SMRT. As a result, their share prices skyrocketed between 5.9% and 6.6% at closing.
Recommended by Anonymous Coward: "An insightful analysis into the merger news."

there were like 3 CD vehicles, one ambulance and 2 police cars, the track which was affected was the Jurong East bound one (meaning the fella jumped/fell into that track) and the police had the entire track (and its boundaries) sealed with the very cool blue police tape (for some reason, i love the police tape).

Reverend Hong was an expert at feng shui and after taking lots of readings he said that the proposed constellation of MRTs tunnels and the huge amount of metal being driven deep into the Singapore bed rock would sever Singapore's Dragon Vein which is bad, bad, bad for the nation. Reverend Hong then offered the following advice: "If you want to continue with project, then u must give every Singaporean household - Indian, Malay, Eurasian, Christian, Buddhist, Muslim - every single one of them a Chinese Ba Gua. Or else Singapore will sink."
Recommended by Anonymous Coward: "Its a popular myth that MM Lee consulted a feng shui master before he set about constructing MRT tunnels. Also, have u noticed the Octagon on the coin? Why an octagon? Why not a nine-sided coin? Or for that matter a 10-sided coin? why an octagon?
Even the SAF Cap Badge - "Yang Pertama, Yang Utama" has an OCTAGON. I remember my old CSM used to say if you go guard duty carry a 1 dollar coin and always have ur beret with the capbadge facing out and in front of u and when you turn, don't just turn ur head, turn your entire body so that any bad spirits will be driven away by your energy.
Sort of like a Street Fighter Ryu energy "Odugan" fireball effect.
Chinese Ba Gua Fengshui elements are everywhere."
