I am a working Singaporean, taking both modes of transport every day to get to my workplace. Ever so frequently, I am late. Why? Because the train is either too packed or it breaks down every other day. The bus doesn't arrive on time, is too packed or too slow. I'm so fed up! It seems that the massive train delay on the 21st January this year has cost our dear SMRT almost $400,000. Oh no, poor guys. I hope the fine would not add up to their operating costs this year. .
