Comparison of schools

stressed_teacher said:

That's the common stereotype we have of neighbhourhood schools, isn' it? I did not get in to one of Singapore's premier schools because of our vaunted meritocratic values. I got in through old-fashion nepotism. In fact, around one-third of my cohort missed the official cut-off entry score by a large margin.

Mr Wong punished me today!

Jasper Chen said:

Oh, I am so happy today because Mr Wong punished me. I was caught talking in class and man, when he noticed that I was talking, he called me up in front of the whole class and scolded me in front of the whole class. In my school, talking in class in a very serious offence and you will get caned for it.

Recommended by Anonymous Coward: "This is some sarcastic crap."
