Singtel Overcharged customers and not apologetic about it! U suck!
BigBert's Fotoblog said:
Singtel has been wrongly charging its customer(s) for wrong price plans. I have been charged for a 300MB plan when I have signed up for a 1GB plan. They took few days to resolve it instead of pacifying me and still made me hold e line while they checked.

2 Geeks Sneak into Telco's Exec's Home
Geek said:
"Yes, we took a lot of risk for this stake out (so close to getting caught I tell you) just to prove the blatant injustice I have mentioned countless times. Did you check out the house, the pool and the cars?!?! Maserati, Ferrari, the infinite pool... The only thing I can afford in there is the trampoline. And this luxurious living is funded by your monthly phone bills."

Under Apple’s Watchful Eye, Games and Business Applications
New York Times BITS Blog said:
Think of Apple as the Singapore of the technology world. It is impeccably clean, very functional, supportive of capitalism — and ruthless with miscreants.

Creating a Scene In Singapore
Improv Everywhere said:
The objective of the mission was pretty simple, point your phones up at the big giant red lantern and keep looking up for 5 minutes. Planning missions in Singapore prove to be a difficult task due to the potential legal issues. We have a law here that prevents us from gathering in groups larger than 4 people.

Apple 1: Asian Consumers 0
YoungJedi said:
What rubbish is that? You jolly well know that everyone is looking forward to use your products and yet you chose to delay the launch (iPhone was launched in US in June this year and last month in Europe). To make it worse, you are sending your 'Imperial Storm-Troopers' to sniff out all the 'rebellions' sellers in Singapore. This is way too much! I mean why must the ang mos enjoy the best things of your products before they slowly make their way to us Asians! Are we your secondary consumers? Since you don't treasure our maket, what rights do you have to stop others from selling them who dying to own them. Now, you are impending the free market forces of distributing the goods and service to your consumers outside US.
Recommended by Anonymous Coward: "It is silly for Apple fans to wait for iPhone. Asians market are not treasured by Apple. Selling iPhones to fellow eager Singaporeans before the launch is considered illegal!!??"

Using this free service, buyers of used handphones on the net as well as on WAP can verify if a handphone is already reported stolen or lost. And they might even want to report the seller and contact the owner or the police.

Voyeurs and cameraphones
seraphinee said in the LJ community sg_ljers...
This guy enters the train and plonks himself down in the empty seat next to me. Most people would sit straight up rite? He kinda leans forward, resting his elbows on his knees with a mobilephone in his hands. [...] Then I noticed that he was pointing it in the direction of the gal sitting opposite him...
Beware of voyeurs bearing cameraphones!

Hello? Is this RINGING?
Jasper Chen said ...
Then, came the funny part. Sitting right beside my table was a young teenager, busily talking on his cell. His voice really frustrates me as he is those high pitch kind that go, "Ey, where are you ah?"...
