Princessa said:

Yesterday, the newspapers published an "article" about the draft selections for the CGS Singapore team.

Good news? Not even close.

Dropcast: The first made-in-Singapore game for the DS

DS Fanboy said:

Singapore-based developer was putting together an unnamed MMO for the DS. We're not sure if those ambitious plans have since been abandoned, but the company has just announced that another of its DS titles will be shipping to Japan by year's end, eventually making its way to North America and Europe early 2008....

Recommended by Jonathan Poon: "I've never heard of this developer, but it sure is nice to see some console games coming out from Singapore. "

Game Development: Singapore lacks ability to think outside the box?

IGN said:

[Eidos' Ian] Livingstone opined that Singapore lacked "the ability to think outside the box to create new intellectual property, new game-play and new characters". Then, just to add insult to injury, he bemoaned: "The tendency here [Singapore] is to make copies of previous games, rather than to think about what the world hasn't seen before or what new games haven't been done before. [There must be a] unique selling point that differentiates them [game developers] from everyone else."

Recommended by mb: "Ian Livingstone gives his sage advice to Singapore game developers."

Sony Playstation 3 launch date

Game Axis said:

First of all, it's no secret that Singapore will be getting PS3 NTSC/J-coded units, similar to the Hong Kong and Taiwan sets. Now, the news that did surprise us though was that Sony Singapore will be launching the PlayStation 3 here officially in March 2007, given that the PlayStation 2 took more than a year to reach Singapore after its official launch in Japan.

Made in Singapore!

Engadget said:

We thought Logitech’s new G15 gaming keyboard was pretty slick, but according to ExtremeTech, the one to beat is the Wolf Claw Type II, from Singapore’s PD Scientific, which adds a set of dedicated gaming keys on the left, sacrificing some function keys and the numeric keyboard in the process.

Made in Singapore - known in the world.
