This is an annual event that I always go for.. it’s part of the Singapore Street Fest and it’s basically a celebration of Japanese music.

It is a simple society ... I will read pornographic material openly on the subway, but I will pay for everything you need; you will whine and behave coquettishly with great frequency, but you will also be quick to light my cigarette when I take it out from the pack.

The queue was long despite being "invitation only" There was a lameass "red carpet" section with huge screens showing footages of screaming fans. All in all, it was lame. However, The decor of the place was damn nice. Chandeliers everywhere, golden picture frames with the pictures of the people featured in the zouk brochure that was sent to us~ They were serving free flow housepours and chocolates, now we're talking. XD

Youth.SG's Towelboy and friends were at the Miss Singapore Universe 2006 press conference last Friday at the M Hotel, where the 18 finalists were revealed. Other than spilling a couple of glasses of water (on the carpet, not the contestants), we hope not to have ruined our chances of being at the finals.

We – that’s me and the girls in bikinis – talked about beauty and purpose: what these things meant to the interviewees. The answers were pretty stock for pageants, although as always, the trick was how to say it with sincerity. It’s sometimes hard to differentiate sincerity from poise and practice.

WOOOOOOOOAAHHH!!! Am I glad I didn't do the Maxim shoot!!! I mean... what the hell were these girls thinking?! Or perhaps they weren't thinking?!!
THEY ARE NOT EVEN PAID TO DO THE SHOOT!!!
How can you pose half naked on a mag and not get paid?!!
Recommended by mb: "blinkymummy thinks the girls who posed for Maxim should have at least been paid."

Somehow the mainstream media (other than Zaobao or Wanbao) weren’t featuring the ladies taking part in this year’s event at all. Anyhowz, the place was filled with photographers, curious onlookers, babies, supporters, uncles, aunties, and yours truly managed to snag a spot at stage-right to catch some of the action.
Time to check out who's hot, and who's not in this year's Ms SG World contest.
