Yes, they totally ignored your sms/phone calls etc once they know you wanted to cancel the membership. For my case, i have been joining for about 6 months or so and have been owing a few months membership fees. (but i have not been going gym since then), i kept asking the sales person (who happened to be my friend's friend) how do i go about cancelling the membership, but no reply from him. If i really dont pay, what will happen next after receiving the big red letter from them? Please advice! Thanks!

first of all..do u read the terms and condition b4 joining the gym. Mmbrshp fees are paid every months regardless of usage, understand the flow, its like a handphone bill, there is a subscription bill and the more u used the handphone the more u pay, rite. If u didnt use ur handphone u will still pay the monthly subscription. There is also a commitment period wer u hav to commit with the company for atleast 12 month. Break the bond, pay the penalty fee. Same as telecoms,Starhub,M1,Singtel wer if u have a 2 year plan, u cant afford to pay the bills, u want to terminate the line, pay a termination fee which can cough up to 300-500 bucks. so..in conclusion no matter wat..u refer back to the contract u hav signed b4 making a fool of urself shouting like an idiot..rude customer when wat the staff are doing are basically on the facts of truth.
