The Tricks and Tactics of MLMs and Venture Era Group

Mister Po said:

They stress the main intention is to benefit your family, after all, they are selling healthcare products. This, combined with their peculiar way of gauging business confidence, and their charismatic trait, would spin off a pretty much hard-to-argue, if not rhetorical set of questions like,

“Are you confident in the products that you are selling?” “Are you confident enough to sell this to your family?” “Do you think our products can benefit people?” “Do you love your family?” “Would you want them to benefit from using our products?” “Would you sell this to your family then?

But it is also one of the very few that analyse the sales tactics employed by the corporation, and discuss the dangers associated with them. In this article the writer highlights the sneaky behaviours of the staff, debunks the too-good-to-be-true payout structure, warns of overambitious youths from joining the company, and questions the stability of the organisation, which in his humble opinion, resembles a pyramid scheme. An insightful and subtly funny post, this post will definitely change the minds of naive teenagers who would otherwise fall prey to evils of an MLM company."

There is nothing wrong with MLM companies in Singapore, but if you take a look at Venture Era, in comparison with other MLM companies, you will notice that there are a lot of youngsters working there. Personally, I believe that these youngsters should prioratise their studies above their work, unless their families have financial difficulties, or working at a MLM company is their passion, which I strongly believe is not the case for most of them. I have experienced the way the employees try to promote the products, and I am totally against it, because they pressurize me to buy even when i kept insisting that I did not have the intention to buy anything from them, until the point where i had to walk out on them because one of them told me I HAVE TO buy the products today, because it was for my family. I really dislike the tactics they use to promote their products, and I am really saying it in a nice way already. It is not that I feel that Venture Era is a mistake, but i hope that they would sell the products sincerely for the society, for those who really need the products they offer, and not because YOUR FAMILY will be better off buying the product from us, so that the uplines can earn more while the downline gains some extra pocket money while his/her family loses some of their own income.
Putting the above topic aside, i would like to comment also on the company's recruitment tactics, on the fact that there are so many young people working, many of them still in their teens and studying. Sure, Venture Era has produced quite a number of amazing young people, but understand that before they find one of these potential next top Venture Era model, they had to call and interview hundreds maybe even thousands of students. It's like digging through the entire planet just to find all the diamonds in the world, which is ridiculous. Having so many students at Venture Era gave me an opinion that VEG is unprofessional and a hard to trust company. I mean, how many of the distributors of Venture Era products actually understand or do research on what they are actually selling? It is very sad because the recruitments that the company takes in is usually naive teenagers and youngsters who come from poor family backgrounds and are hungry for success in their life. At this point of time when the company is already quite establised, these youngsters are practically working on the losing end of the company, as there are so much more people working above them. I really hope that my message gets across to everyone, especially anybody working for Venture Era.
