The dangers of blind faith: Is City Harvest Church encouraging fraud?

e-hung said:

Does the CHC approve of Hinn's transgressions? Indeed, the manner in which Hinn conducts his "sermons" are very similar - if not identical - to the way CHC conducts its own. Is it deliberately supporting him in committing them?

These are legitimate and important questions that an objective person would ask, based on the facts gathered so far. But when I posted them up on the wall on the event's Facebook page, the post was swiftly deleted. It may be just one small action, but the very act of censorship speaks volumes. Is there no room for questioning in the church, only obedience?

In the first place why are Christians competiting with one another to get more membership? And cant Christians go to other church to pray rather than keep sticking to their own church?
Also i have came across some friends who are new christian converts came to me, trying to preach me the religion and keep pursuading me to go to their church. Ok this really annoys me.From the look of it, it doesnt seem that they have fully understand the religion well due to the fact that they are "new".
But seriously, the church, whichever church it is, should concentrate on preaching the religion to their own followers and not to approach people who already have a religion like me. Though i dont practice my religion as much, but i do not wish people trying to convert me or something. I do not see any of my buddhist, muslims, hindus, catholics and christians from those more "reserved" denominations friends doing something like this.
