Generally Singaporeans think they have something to teach or show the world...I am speaking about Chinese Singaporeans who so happen to be one of the most arrogant and in many cases stupid individuals among the Chinese living in the area (Indonesia, Malaysia, etc).
In many ways believing that their concept of modernism (infrastructure, shopping malls and buildings) puts them one notch above others...what they seem to have forgotten or does not enter into their insular brains is that socially they are worse than wild dogs..where the basic fundamentals of respect for others is non-existent.

No respect in the service sector..they have no sense of carrying-out a job and detaching their personal wants or problems from the service (only seem to be happy when they screw others or foreigners..foreigners which happen to be in Singapore because they are needed by Singapore much more than the reverse being true). A great part cannot even speak proper english let alone other languages. Out of the job they occupy themselves with spending days looking at prices in shop windows with a sort of sexual lusting for it...in a quasi manic manner. They will hog escalators, bump into you to get through without even uttering a single 'excuse me'. They don't even have the decency, let alone the basic 'primate' intelligence to understand that they should let passengers alight from subways before trying to board as this only makes things more frustrating and takes more time!

So why complain about Chinese from China? You are even worse because given all your great and mighty talk about how much you have achieved on this 'sand dune' of a country in reality you have achieved nothing...and the rest of the world rarely dedicates any pages, or airtime, or any basic attention to what you do because greatness is rated with time...in thousands of years..through history...through civilizations..through culture...NOT through a shelf-life of a few decades and some pathetic ferris wheel which is just like trying to compare your penis with somebody elses because you have nothing else to compare.
