Free Bootstrapper's Bible. Is it useful for Singaporeans?

ChangeThis is giving away Bootstrapper's Bible by Seth Godin for free (the offer is for a limited period of two weeks, go grab it while you can).

I have read this book and sadly didn't use much of the ideas which are mostly practical and sound. This led me to ponder, whether Singaporeans and PRs (I'm a PR) are too comfortable and the very thought of entrepreneurship takes us out of our comfort zones? The Government on its part has been promoting entrepreneurism but I don't see any major signs of people jumping into the fray to become entrepreneurs though we have quite a number of well-known faces that get recycled as role-models a lot.

I know that I'm guilty as charged.

I agree advertising can be costly but small business owners or entrepreneurs must not be competing with the big boys dollar for dollar. Instead they have to seek out unique ways of advertising, a guerrilla strategy or WOM/viral campaigns would surely be more suitable. Again easier said than done (this is slowly becoming my signature phrase, oh no).
