Woohoo! We singaporeans have sealed our global internet image as stupid, shallow, gossipy, deprived dorks who give most attention to the lamest issues that others would scoff at! What is the big friggin' deal about a lost sex vid, a blogger making disappearing acts and cosmetic surgery? Even if they deserve some minute attention, certainly not to such blown-up standards. Is it worth destroying these young girls' lives over such frivolous things?

I have been deluded. The place I called home my whole life is not a supposedly progressive modern Singapore but some ulu tribe in the far flung unknown reaches of the world. That's become the laughingstock of bloggers worldwide.

That Diretribe fellow is, unfortunately, someone who is highly incapable of understanding irony and sarcasm, despite his supposedly intellectual image he is trying so desperately to maintain, the fact that he does not have a sense of humour does not make him very, well, intelligent in my book. Therefore, to even take him seriously is a waste of time. However, his sheer pretentiousness is pretty damned amusing.

the irony is lost on both of us. lets not harp on the honest mistakes.
