Hate speech on local radio

I'd think the majority of sg_ljers are not the target audiences for the Love 97.2FM DJ Dongfang Billy aka Billy Wang's radio show. But I see a need to call him out after hearing some uninformed and damaging things he said over in his show.

I was just sitting in the living room, reading the papers when I heard him start talking about "homosexuality is a choice" and if you "make this choice and not one that is for marriage and family, you must be prepared for the consequences". AND, he was saying how they're releasing a book on the "touching stories" of ex-gays. Plus, he states that "homosexuality is a direct result of lack of family morality teaching".

Recommended by jasperthedummy: "I guess he still had some balls to say these on national radio. Seriously he should be fired. So what if he's popular among aunties if he blabber things without proof.

Lesbian until graduation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"The slang term "lesbian until graduation" (LUG) is occasionally applied to college women who choose to experiment with gay sex or with adopting a temporary "homosexual or bisexual identity", but ultimately adopt a strictly heterosexual identity. The term is often used humorously or pejoratively, and the phenomenon it describes is sometimes presented as evidence that homosexuality (or human sexuality in general) is purely a matter of changeable sexual preference as opposed to innate sexual orientation; however, a counterargument holds that such behavior it is quite distinct from "true" lesbianism in that it is consciously elective, temporary, and "bi-curious" behavior. Another counterargument holds that such behavior is deliberately temporary, only engaging in homosexual behavior for hedonistic purposes, allowing the participants to concentrate on studies while not being distracted by genuine romantic relationships while at the same time avoiding the attentions of unwanted male companionship.

... 'At some colleges, women feel free to experiment with the entire concept of sexual identity. At Smith College last year there was a "questioning" support group, for students who were wondering whether they were lesbians. There is even a new term — "lugs", lesbians until graduation. Some of these women hide their sexual orientation on leaving college, fearing harassment. Some ultimately choose men.'"

Ah, soo desu neh.

But I was talking about LIG, not LUG. That's lesbians in general. And the fun is watching them do it to each other, nothing about hands on action.
