Man's evolution from monkey a proven scientific fact?

If the letter was an appeal for a more critical look at evolution that would be a applaudable point of view, but a religiously-motivated criticism sees things through tinted eyes, and here’s the frightening part, this FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt) spreads.

Recommended by Anonymous Coward: "This article discusses and rebukes a recent forum letter that attacks the validity of evolution."

Well beowulf, it's good that you are clear on your motives, that your inability to understand evolution stems from your literalist and fundamentalist religious views. I don't see any point trying to convince you from that; my posts are aimed at clarifying the issue with neutral readers. And also, your analogies are really rather poor. Scientists have been studying emotions for decades, and I believe the blind are surely more cognisant than you give them credit for.

What I am driving to drive at is emotions are not quantifiable. That is, love and jealousy cannot be explained down to an exact science. And in the land of the blind, the blind would not have developed a concept of colors, given their limitations.

Personally speaking, the atheistic pro-evolutionists are displaying the classic frog in the well syndrome, unwilling to consider the world outside the well.
