Humans exist in this world for a reason.

Animals exist for a reason too.

In today's context, to live is a miracle.

You read about abandoned/neglected animals. The same goes for the human babies and the elderly.

There are similarities, and each tug at our heartstrings.

Can we not dengenerate into a petty squabble about whether animal lives are more precious than human lives?

Whatever religion you are, sure they preach that life and living is sacrosanct.

If you save a human life over an animal's life, does it mean you enjoy better living in heaven or reincarnation?

If you murder a human life over an animal's life, does it mean you remain in eternal hell or deepest purgatory?

A vote cast here is an exercise in the freedom of choice.

Let that freedom be respected.
