SPGs = BITCHES?? People got ANG MOH boyfriend, u got problem? Why keep STARING??

Verie blogs about Singaporeans perception of Singaporean women dating caucasian boyfriends.

But anyway that brings me to this issue about women dating caucasian boyfriends being labelled as SPGs.

Wherever they go, they got STARED at, some people even took a second look back, and it's making her feel super uncomfortable. Of course! Jordan is hot and MANY girls were staring at him, but what was actually going through their mind?

Since you're SO OUT to get me, let me tell you this, if I said that the caucasian guy ISNT'T even rich at all, on the contrary, he came from a broken family and worked hell hard to earn that $2000 bucks to come to SG? So does that fall into your SPG's definition? Eat your words. PLUS please show some respect for women in your words, be a real man. I haven't hear of local girls saying they are head over heels over their bangla or indonesian bf, saying that they are together not because of the skin color but because of true love. However, many cases with Ang Mohs. Ever wonder why?

Let me hazard a guess - maybe they do not want to risk having to live in those countries other than advanced ang moh lands? Part of the problem lies with society too, not just the SPGs. Society perceives ang mohs to be higher class.

But not all who have ang moh boyfriends are SPGs and brag about them. I know of many who married ang moh missionaries and went with them to ulu lands. It can be love too.

Hmm...my impression of ang mor s nowadays is that they can't get a job back home so lan lan have to fly to asia.
Oh yar...There are plenty of women falling head over heels for them too as an incentive.
(Im not just talking about the fililpinos')

Basically Verie, what Im tryin to say is that nobody really cares whether you are caressing/fondling/holding hands with an ang mor/asian/black..etc..etc...

with regards to this, im sorry but i think 2 cents worth is required. 1stly, whatever a blogger states in his/her blog, its all derived based on their personal point-of-views. it cant really be fathomed as to why others are making a big woohaa outta it. at e same time, trying hard enuff to substantiate own perspective without even getting facts right in e first place. isnt that monkey-see-monkey-do kinda scenario?

2ndly, what makes 1 really think that angmohs couldnt get a job back in their homeland and have to LL fly to asia? cos of e recent global recession thingy? if its really so, i dun think any rational person would wanna spend tat kinda $$ on airfare etc even if its to asian countries. cos air surcharges alone are enuff to add fuel to e flame.

3rdly, by attempting to link e angmoh issue to e blogger, seriously i dun see any linkage between e paragraphs. if its really e case of whatever e blogger does and it doesnt matter at all, or others (you) would not even care.. den thats even more hard to fathom cos theres absolutely no point as to why terms like caressing/fondling/holding hands are even being typed out in e first place.

4thly, be it whoever out there were to be self-conscious bout pple staring at ownself or their partner, thats not meant to be an issue in e first place. that's subjected to e freedom of oneself in wanting to be self-conscious or not to be.

this is kinda sad and weird. if you choose to ping/tomorrow your blog entries, then i think you should be open to receiving comments - good and bad. to become so defensive over what others say and fervently promote the idea that it is YOUR life, YOUR blog etc etc...is just really...shooting yourself in the foot. if you want the attention, be prepared to handle whatever comes along. saying that it's your blog isn't going to cut it.

this is actually quite entertaining. here's my 5cents. born in KL and raised in australia, i thought i was subject to racial prejudices. nothing like what i have seen since arriving in SG for work. With the global recession, believe me, those moron ang moh's that created this mess ARE flying to HK and SG for work. Why not, i'm sure all the ang moh friends here told them how easy SPG's are.

secondly, there are genuinely SG girls that happen to date ang moh guys. but u can see that it's not that it is a preference...it's just love. conversely, there are the detestable one's who not only date ang moh guys, but put the local SG boys down - that behaviour is lower than the scum that lies beneath the whale sh!t on the ocean floor. but what is it that puts a smile on my face??? seeing an ang moh guy with a coyote-ugly SPG (about 85% of the time).

coming back to Asia after living in Oz for 20yrs opened my eyes to the apparent discrimination everywhere. i actually thought i'd be accepted here given the look, but my accent gives me away. it's hilarious the number of glances (not stares) i got from chicks with my Oz accent. only to see them turn away when they saw i look like a local. pretty disgusting.

on a final note, here's a revoluntionary change to smile about. China WILL become the next powerhouse. the balance will be brought forth when the world sees that the ang moh's aren't so superior afterall. already back in Oz, i am seeing Asian guys with white chicks (my buddy is one of these guys). hence, we are starting to see the turnaround. this is not cos of money, but that Asian guys are more respectable and don't dump their ladies when they lose their expat jobs. my point is this: if the SPG's dun appreciate the local boys for who they are, they will surely get jealous when they see white chicks hooking up with Asian guys. this will no doubt piss off the ang moh's and bring a huge smile on my face.

And so goes the balance of life...

If you are born as an angmoh, that means you are already a winner in life, especially in Asia.

But on the other hand, if we, Asians, want to cum to the West, we won't be Kings like how they are in Asia, but we will still be second class people there.

I think this is because of the centuries of colonization by them such that it is already permanently ingrained in our minds that ang mohs are superior than us and we are lower than them, and that they are the way to go. and also no thanks to the Cold War in which Development and Prosperity are defined as "Conforming to the West's way of life and way of running a country".

So yeah, Ang Moh = Winners, like it or not. And btw, Olympic Games is an Ang Moh concept anyways, so I don't think it is too much to portray the images of them. They are the creators of the concept, so they have to be featured.
