10 Rules You All Should Know When Taking the MRT

»

krisandro said:

1. When on the escalator during rush hour, either keep left or you follow the rushing passengers on the right. Don’t stall the fast lane and tempt me to grab your legs and throw you over the side.

2. When SMRT says they are increasing the number of train trips, it doesn’t mean that you can wake up later. And please don’t look at the screens telling you how long the next train is going to arrive if you have high blood pressure.

about the increased frequency of train. anyone experienced any improvement at all?

peak vs non-peak. by the time i knock off from work, its already non-peak. anyway i also go for the head or the tail of the train, elsewhere seems to be packed normally.

some paper says recently that about 10 - 15 years later, more people would be working near to their homes. wouldn't that be "great"?

Agreed! It was already rock bottom, there's hardly anymore more levels left to slip down to.

I still haven't got enough time to blog properly yet:(

Hmm...
Submitted by an "Anonymous Coward" yet again, perhaps it is the blog's author himself?

Which coward are you referring to?

I dont freaking understand wtf SBS is doing by wasting $$$$ in rolling out bloody expensive satellite tracking devices (knn James Bond taking yer buses meh) + MOB TV (the TV noise is truly moblike).

Knn use the $$$$ u squeeze from all the poor commuters to hire more Chinamen to drive the buses so that we dun have to cram in the inevitably jampacked buses and suffocate like shit la...

Example :
Limpeh today at 7pm, waited 25 mins for 31 at Toa Payoh Interchange.
Q was as long as TOTO $5m jackpot queue. And in the end, it was a single decker bus everyone boarded.

Where have all the double deckers gone? Drivers drive off go bet on EURO2008 is it?

F*^% SG public transport and all those useless brainless ex-SAF honchos in charge of public transport.

Dun kaobei kaobu to all worldwide proclaim SBS SMRT world class la... come and take a peak hour bus or train and try to join in the cramming ...

Oh well, i gg to buy a car soon anyway. Screw LTA.
