2 NUS campuses, 2 different responses

The Ridge said:

Dismayed at the violent crackdown on Buddhist monks in Myanmar, students from the National University of Singapore organized Myanmar Peace Awareness Day on their campuses on Oct. 4.

But things were different between the two campuses.

Over at the Bukit Timah law campus, organizers and volunteers seated prominently outside the co-op distributed peace packages containing a red armband, a red ribbon, and an information sheet on Myanmar from noon.

Recommended by Anonymous Coward: "The same school, but the response is different, especially in the main campus. And further contrasted with the response in both NTU and SMU. Makes one wonder what kind of top Uni NUS is."

I don't quite understand the commentary introducing the link. What do the different responses between the two campus sites have to do with "what kind of top uni NUS is"? What exactly is the argument here? That the 2 sites ought to have an equally visible campaign? That more should have been done? And contrasted with what? What exactly happened in NTU and SMU? Its hard to contrast something with nothing, which is what we're expected to do here.

Am i the only one here who's had enough of bad writing, incomplete logic and incoherent analysis?

Welcome to the internet. Don't expect rational arguments or reason and logic here (though they can be found, sometimes).

Yeah. What's with the implied one-upmanship for? Immature attempt at spin.

I tink the different responses was in the first article, showing the different reactions between the two NUS campuses, and there's another article linked at the bottom: http://ridgeonline.wordpress.com/2007/10/05/strong-support-for-peace-in-myanmar-at-smu-and-ntu/ this one showing the responses at NTU/SMU.
