authentic Filipino food at Lucky Plaza

Alvinology said:

First time I tried Filipino cooking - as in, authentic Filipino food, not Singaporean food cooked by Filipino domestic helpers.

Rachel brought Leon and I to this interesting Filipino restaurant called Kabayan Filipino fast food restaurant hidden in a corner in Lucky Plaza on the third floor.

Here’s the exact address: 304 Orchard Rd #03-25 Lucky Plaza

The place is great! There were not many locals sighted there. Also, there were no pesky posters boasting of wins from the millions of overrated local food guides like Yummy King, Makansutra, etc. Hence not yet having to pander to mass appeal.

Hi,

Thanks for the review.
I went to this Indonesian Restaurant at Bugis which claimed that it cooked authentic Indonesian food..Restaurant Indonesia Nusantara at Liang Seah..wah..the food is poorly done..and the Indonesian owner seems to be a short-and-hot-tempered woman..don't know why...I heard from my friends that she is often heard screaming or scolding her workers whether at the dining area or at the kitchen...
After that I decide to die, die not try to eat at the Restaurant Nusantara again...
