Tremor in Singapore!

Enigma said:

For a good 12 seconds, I felt that I was in the path of some harmonics. Then I felt my body on the sofa moving to the left with my legs on the table heading to the right. Then it starts alternating and alternating… Then the jingglings at home started swaying!

Trackback from Otterman: "Did you feel the tremors?" (with map):

At about 12.20pm, my GMail chats started popping...

"Did you feel the tremors?" Lekowala asked. ...

For a good 12 seconds, I felt that I was in the path of an MRT. Then I felt my body on one rail moving to the left with my legs on the other rail heading to the right. Then my organs start splashing all over the tracks… Then the jingglings in my head started swaying!

and i thought it was a belated celebration of "love" and "compassion".

Usually I would be at my office at Park Mall by 10a.m. but for today, I set out later for an appointment. Was washing the dishes at my flat in Toa Payoh when I suddenly felt the walls moving and I felt really dizzy". I thought "That's it! Am going to have a stroke soon!" But when I walked back to the living room, the dizziness stopped. "Probably there must be an earthquake somewhere in Aisa", I thought. Strangely, this feeling is different from the earthquake tremors I felt in Taipei. The computer and table shook, but I did not feel any dizziness.

i think the earth felt the excitement being developed in downtown areas and sent an equally excired respond to welcome it.

Everyone is talking about the tremors. No, not this one. (pic) I'm talking about the tremors that were felt in most parts of Singapore yesterday because of the Sumatra earthquake....
