Bollywood Dancing, Singapore style!

Woohoohoohoo said:

My sister's wedding video, a parody of a typical Bollywood film. Done to the song "Yeh Ladka Hai Deewana" (This Boy/Girl Is Crazy) from the famous Hindi movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998).

Yeah, because Singaporeans make such good movies themselves that they can afford to parody others.

Because non-Singaporeans do not have their own Tomorrow's they have to come here to kaypo and sling mud. Tsk tsk tsk.

The side effect of having cheap video recorders in the market is that, any talentless fool can take their own video and share it with the rest of the world.

hey why not put your name to your particularly talentless comment lah okay? *scoffs*

that was pretty fun. Beats a lot of other stuff out there. Particularly TCS dramas.

These are my friends! They just got married not too long ago...

Not bad la. But generally, if you are not prepared to have somebody not like something you made. don't put it on the Internet. Otherwise, don't complain when people are less than positive about it.

I am the said person who put this video up on YouTube, and I am in no way affiliated to the one who "tomorrowed" it (I have no idea who that person is). Some guests who saw this video at their wedding dinner simply requested it to be posted on YouTube so they could watch it again, and the video is public for convenience's sake. It was not made with the intention to entertain random netizens.

So if you enjoyed it, good for you. If you didn't, you don't have to resort to insinuating that my sister, her husband and their friends are 'talentless fools'. To set the record straight, a relatively inexpensive Sony digicam was used for filming, and Apple's iMovie was used for basic video editing. This was obviously not made to impress anyone.

This random netizen happens to find it entertaining, especially that classic hide-n-seek around the tree! Only pity is that their eyes and necks can do more.

Those who take offence at "cheap" productions can always do a parody of chinese or malay movies if they think they are more talented.

Hahaa... Very the "Indian"... Nothing more then that...

There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle. -- Albert Einstein

I loved this...and the spirit behind it. I think this is so much more romantic than the usual run of the mill "through the ages" video segment at weddings.

Love it!
Hey! say what you like, this is quite original. It's quite strange to watch chinese faces doing the music and song but that's the entertainment value.
Would it be as appealing if it's an Indian couple doing this? Of cos not.

What's the problem putting it on You TUBE?
Shows that Singaporeans do have a sense of humor. Its' all done in good taste.
Congrats. To the newly weds .. have a great life together filled with laughter and happiness!
