PM Lee Mentions mrbrown In National Day Rally Speech

mrbrown said:

I also believe in responding in turn to what the Government said in their letter, but my Humour column was suspended immediately after their letter was printed. Perhaps Mediacorp/TODAY did not stand by what they published?

Recommended by Kenny Sia: "WHY IS THIS ARTICLE INTERESTING?!

Nabeh, even Singapore Prime Minister said mrbrown is a very talented man liaw, still not interesting enough for you meh?!"

Trackback from Another Amazing Rambo Tan:

In response to Mr. Brown, that perpetual anarchist, he replied - mee siam, mai ham! Obviously this was supremely funny, and also deep, because, who really eats ham with mee siam?...

Trackback from The Kway Teow Man:

If Mr Brown spouts more nonsense (in the Garmen's opinion), MICA could always have smacked him with another robust reply what. What's so hard about that? :-)...

Trackback from Singapore Election Watch:

It also expressed disappointment at Today newspaper's suspension of blogger mr brown's column last month, after the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts (Mica) had criticised its commentary on the high cost of living here...

Trackback from Zynfandel:

I'd like to know (not seriously, of course) - how does an immediate clampdown on columnists translate into open discussion? And how exactly does the government expect to conduct "open discussions" with Singaporeans anyway?...

It is easier to talk about implementing "open discussions". It is much harder to actually do it.
Talk is cheap and politicians talk a lot. Can they walk the talk ?

Here's something to think about: Are we Singaporeans ready for truly open discussions ? Because being truly open means willingness to let ALL voices to be heard. That means allowing voices with racist views, supporting for the Islamic Jihad , supporting communist idealogy, supporting anarchy, gay marriages, legalising drugs etc. Are we ready to listen to such views no matter how revolting they may be ? Because truly open discussions means allowing such voices to be heard.

This is Minilee's idea of open discussion-

Mr Brawn: Nabei, living expenses is bloody high in singapore
Gahmen: Not!!!
Minilee: End of open discussion.
Mr Brawn:...

will Kenny Sia even bothered abt it?

anyone can answer why he is so "concern" abt sg politics and not m'sias?

he seems can't wait to rub salt... inferior complex maybe??

Seems like you're the one with selective memory there, mate. There's a HUGE difference between "I don't know what's going on at all" and "I don't understand why people are getting so worked up". There's not even a "Malaysian Chinese Uni student getting bashed up". Just some hooligans chanting and yelling that's all.

Eh Singaporean, your prime minister tells you to don't repeat untruths you still dun wanna listen! :D

Sue for defamation!!!

"It is folly for an eminent person to think of escaping censure, and a weakness to be affected by it. All the illustrious persons of antiquity, and indeed of every age, have passed through this fiery persecution. There is no defense against reproach but obscurity; it is a kind of concomitant to greatness, as satires and invectives were an essential part of a Roman triumph." - Joseph Addison

Hahaha! What do you expect me to do? Engage in an intellectual banter over the internet with an abusive anonymous troll monkey? Sorry, not gonna stoop myself to your level.

Who are you to me? I get A LOT worse comments on my own blog. See, I'm just doing all this to get on your nerves. ;) And honestly speaking, it's actually kinda fun watching you get all so worked up. I can visualise you popping a vein there. Hehehe.

I saw him and I said "Wow! That's an amazing filly that is!"

But the moment the words left my mouth, I knew I found true love...

The mushrooms grew at eleventh rate, and squirrels dropped from heaven's gates.

My... my, my, my, my... Didn't we always think Jesus loved the children who?

That's torn it, I'mma eat more vegetables to prove my point. And that point is... Baby wipes. We need to wipe out babies to become more in tune with arse painting. Listen up ya'll, or weep to regret it...

I'll say this once, and I'll leave you to molest it:

It's all in the potatoes.

Trackback from Mdaz Multiply Blog:

Couldn't help but chuckle when PM Lee blasted Mr Brown for making the Government look like idiots on his blog and making nasty accusations about PAP and the recent elections. These idiots don't really learn any lessons from others....

Err...Kenny Sia is fat. Thank you.
