Govt gets touchy.

mrbrown said:

Letter from MICA: "mr brown's views on all these issues distort the truth. They are polemics dressed up as analysis, blaming the Government for all that he is unhappy with. He offers no alternatives or solutions. His piece is calculated to encourage cynicism and despondency, which can only make things worse, not better, for those he professes to sympathise with..."

Recommended by dotaguy: "MICA slams mrbrown's TODAY article. Has mrbrown hit too close to home? And why is mrbrown suddenly a psuedonym he is hiding under? I thought everyone already knew who he is ?"

If criticising the Gahmen is partisan, then isn't defending the Gahmen partisan too? Is MICA partisan as well? Isn't this a case of pot calling the kettle black?...

Somehow I just feel that Bhavani’s line in regards of Mr Brown’s daughter seems to be a personal attack....

seems to be? It is a freaking personal attack. Just like a certain old man saying "SUE ME".

If Mr Brown sing the praises of the govt in his newspaper column, will he still kena being called 'partisan' ?

Dear Editors,

Not sure who put this up as a trackback, but I hereby give notice that I expressly consent to this trackback as this is a unique situation.

Thank you.

This thing is really getting hot. I forsee serious repurcussions for the dear K Bhavani. There is a rising backlash from the SG blogger community because of the pure crap that she is saying.

EVERYONE SUPPORT MR BROWN!!!!

MPs and ministers with a sense of humour is like singapore with freedom- they only exists in the depths of our hopes and imaginations, but don't hold breath waiting for it to happen. Maybe if some old monkey were to pass away...

Tsk, tsk. When will the govt understand that they're not voted in to explain away price hikes and such, but to DEAL WITH THEM? When will they realise that people like Mr Brown won't be complaining if these hikes weren't that frequent. And when will our MPs and ministers ever get a sense of humour?

What's wrong with a bit of sarcarsm? After all, I'm sure tough times like these won't affect these top civil servants' coffers much, so shouldn't they learn to smile a little a least? Or do they really have a reason for sounding so defensive? :)

I think they've forgotten that they are the ones holding the full-time jobs with the high salaries to solve the problems of the electorate!
