Tomorrow.Sg Hates Blinkymummy!!!

»

Blinkymummy said:

I was Tomorrowed many times before.
Perhaps back then, I was still perceived as the harmless, crazy, uniform-wearing female blogger, who was willing to take picture with anybody, make middle-age men happy with my presence, and report on Plaza Singapura fires!!

Then I started to lash out at bloggers who blog with hits-accumulation/popularity in mind, and no regard for anything else. And of course, the XX and gang Hate Site incident, where Tomorrow.Sg refused to put up the entry properly and many others could only post related entries as trackbacks.

aiya.. tml.sg editors are bunch of snobs who thought tried to control what readers read and have allow/disallow entries based on their own personal biasness.

other than the stories which are nice(not even written by the editors), everything else about tml.sg suck big time.

i am quite puzzle that no sg World Cup Blog was published so far... is it becos the editors not football fans then its deemed not interesting??

Posted by Anonymous Monkey* on 13 June, 2006 - 1:42am

IIRC, no relevant ones submitted. *shrug*

I'm not a football fan, but some of the rest are hot-blooded football aficionados

see how lack of transparency led to "kelong" theory?? perhaps tmr.sg should display all the submitted blog in title only... at least let public know what had happen to their submitted blog..

Posted by Anonymous Monkey* on 13 June, 2006 - 5:50pm

transparency is not some panacea. if parents tried to be transparent all the time, they'd never be able to do their jobs competently

`A policeman can therefore make a pass at you and subsequently hand you in on that basis`

Limpeh tell you what it's all about.

I got tomorrowed 3 times. I dowan to be spoilsport by saying eh you dun tomorrow me, so even though I not completely happy I say it's alright.

2 of the entries were for weird sexual fetishes, and one of them is about paranoia. Blinky can write all she wants about the decent things that she does, but maybe ppl think those articles are boring and not tomorrow -able. But once she write something that betrays a weird mentality - BANG, it makes good copy and it gets tomorrowed.

Not saying it's good or bad, but journalism (MSM or blogging) is always like that.

No one wants to read about decency. Everyone likes hot, saucy, weird, scandalous stuff!

You got tomorrowed? You mean trackbacks?

My point exactly.

I've tracked back more than 3 times, I'm talking about tomorrows. Track backs aren't anything to write home about. Getting tracked back is like masturbating, whereas getting tomorrowed is like scoring.

The only scoring sieteocho gets is his relationships with Ma Thumb and her four daughters.

fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap! fwap!

Eh want to fwap can close your italics tags at least? Tsk.

so solli! sieteocho's stupidity is velli infectious! how ah? maybe I make one extra close tag can or not ah?

Nabeh, this is the biggest indignity of all.

Couldn't I at least have somebody with a 3 digit IQ following me around?

Not only a stupid doppelganger, but one who can't spell, who can't close his fucking tags properly, one who masturbates all day. Useless piece of shit.

I used to be ok with BM even thru-out the XX saga (whereby it's both amazing AND amusing to see how a victim could possibly turn to an aggressor) but manx, this is it!

This is way too attention-seeking and for a woman her age, this is impossible.

IMO, she already received enough attention from Singaporeans with her recent appearance in '有话就说'. Why stoop to this?

maybe bm's entries are so yesterday thats why they are not tomorrowed.
should submit them to yesterday.sg to be yesterdayed. :p

OMG you're SO funny! I can't believe nobody else thought it would so innovative and hilarious to make a word play on the title of this website!

Hoity Toity blinkydummy!

Trackback from Tribolum.com:

BlinkyMummy writes an arguably humourous post about how Tomorrow.sg editors refuse to publish her content on the Singapore blog aggregator. Of course, to quell such allegations and to add a tinge of irony, the editors publish her complaint. Now I’m going to assume she was being somewhat serious, because hiding behind humour and then saying you didn’t really mean it......

I thought blinkmummy used to have a "don't want to be tomorrow-ed" banner on her blog?

Tomorrow.sg hates Monkey

Why like that ah? Maybe because I have written sensitive comments which hit major raw nerves and open wounds of a few Tomorrow Editors before ah?

Tomorrow Editors have replied to my comment before...
Perhaps back then, I was still perceived as the harmless, crazy, uniform-wearing monkey, who was willing to agree with Agagooga, make shianux happy with my presence, and report on NS Slave!!

now ... no editor reply me anymore... dun be so small gas...

Blogging for Husbands! A new blogosphere activity! Whee!

Posted by Osama bin Mahatir al Ghadaffi Hussein* on 9 June, 2006 - 12:53pm

Kaka I also found my hubby thru my previous blog leh! :D

Anyway I was reminded of Bai Ling when situations like this arise in the blogosphere.

..or Zoe Tay. Have you seen the cha-cha-cha adverts?!

Well, Miss BM here found her husband-to-tbe through her blog. Cannot believe how desperate one can get.

Posted by Joker* on 9 June, 2006 - 11:17am

Do people advertise for husbands online? In the form of blogs?

Posted by Mrs Toa Payoh* on 9 June, 2006 - 10:42am

if blogger not attention seeker... why would they wants to publish their journal online for all to see??

Posted by Anonymous Monkey* on 9 June, 2006 - 9:36am

reminds me of an attention seeking child. a BIG 30 yr old child.

What an attention seeking whore. Maybe Lanpah Tan... er I mean Lupin Tan not giving her enough attention.

ADSS ==> Can you kindly shut your trap. Don't comment if you have nothing better to say.

Trackback from It's all part of her 'plan'? :

Her actions reminds me of those fallen out-of-favour actresses who do stupid things just to stir some publicity, even if it's just some tacky news....

not the 1st time my comments @ BM site is censored. posting here just in case. ***comment further down***

i want to add - someone earlier mentioned that if tomorrow.sg ask her be editor she will reject. i think she wants to be one of the editor lah. this might be a ploy to really get herself noticed.

lastly, to quote yet another commentor earlier - "I used to enjoy reading her blog and thought she was genuine and balanced in her views (despite the expletives) until she started to make unpleasant remarks about other bloggers. It's just not right eventhough they may deserve it." --- this is how i feel too.

i even said things like that (nicely!) at those entries in her blog when she made those remarks about other bloggers. what happened? blocked.

"""haii.

i only just said what i felt abt the blog in earlier entry.

then u have to start doing the things that are a minus point to why i liked ur blog in the 1st place

why must make a fuss over being tomorrowed or not? so now got tomorrowed liao must do separate entry and 'poh' back after u sling some mud ah?

why must u mention XX? why do u seem like u are comparing urself to them or her?

is it that if more ppl like u, means u are more popular - especially over her? is triumphing over her your marking yardstick when it comes to popularity; satisfaction at yourself?

haii. i abit sian again.

nevermind..say too much no use. because? i am just a reader, you are still the blogger of one of the blogs i like to read. readers shld be happy with getting things they find enjoyable to read.

so the best is to ignore things that i dont particularly like to read from ya n veiled/unveiled references to ppl thats not nice to read too.

keep blogging =]"""

Posted by hitmeimfat* on 8 June, 2006 - 4:22pm

Attention-seeking everywhere she goes. In Wala, you sure cannot miss her cos she will make so much noise and a big din so that people can see her. In fact, the EIC gang thinks she is a joke. She thinks she is a celebrity??? LOL

Posted by Joker* on 8 June, 2006 - 3:49pm

Conspiracy? I don't see any of that in tomorrow.sg. In fact, we have more disagreements. For example, I wouldn't publish this article.

While in uni, I suddenly came up with a m-f-ing idea.

Ask her to join tomorrow.sg as an editor. Problemo solved. Confirmed. =D

But chances are she'll say she's really not into the fame or whatever or status yada yada, so she'll reject the invitation. Lol

Can't she just grow up?

Together now, can we say M E G A L O M A N I A ?

Posted by Chris Dong* on 8 June, 2006 - 2:20pm

Posted by Mickey Mao* on 8 June, 2006 - 1:15pm

Huh? I was also never tomorrowed for a long time wat. Got lah, long long time ago. Nowadays, some of my own submissions and recommendations others made for my site were also never published. I also never kpkb.

What's up with that?
