That's quite an idea by the heritage board.

"Did you know that the John Lennon actually stayed at the Raffles Hotel in the 70s"

Here's an entry that will not likely be in yesterday.sg

Led Zeppelin banned from entering Singapore

Led Zeppelin fans in Singapore are disappointed
when the group is forced to cancel a concert there.
The reason? The conservative country's officials wouldn't
let the band members off the plane because of their long hair.

Well, it IS part of history, so maybe Yesterday.sg might post this too. Hah.

alamak! That's just after IV was released! Wonder if Page and Plant would try their luck here again. We'd get a watered down Led Zep though.

Not sure who it was - Plant or Page, but one of them did visit Singapore inthe later 90s. I think they played at the hard rock cafe one evening.

For that matter, Nirvana visited Singapore (met up with Paul Zach, IIRC) in the early 1990s and wanted to do an impromptu gig, but apparently couldn't get a permit on such short notice.

What's next? Today.sg?
