I find myself doing repetitive task of searching good books in amazon site and checking NLB online catalogue if they are available in the library. Very time consuming, so this site combines information from Amazon and NLB under one page. Do check it out.

Very nice.

This is a grrrreat service. I do the same each time too... seaching in amazon then in sg lib if the book is available. From techie point of view, the site is also very well done, nice layout of info, and if u mouse over on lib link, it shows which lib branch is on load and not on loan. nice demo of how useful web services can be.

Oh hell yes!

This is absolutely smashing! Three thumbs up for the webmaster!

Yes, I agree it's nice work! There are some bugs (e.g. holdings not entirely accurate) but that's understandable since it's BETA. But have written to the site owner to remove the NLB logo and include statement that its not affliated to NLB -- because things like that might cause misunderstandings and marr an otherwise excellent grassroots initiative.

Thx guys for your feedback, and Jo for posting to this blog site! And I've just enchanced the site to check all book editions using xISBN service. It is now easier to find a book in the library. :)
