4444 Video

Lisie, David and Bumbling-Belle have jointly created a video entitled '4444' (which stars Vincent Lee) as an entry for Canon's DV Fest 2005 contest.

4444 is a brizarre, absurdist drama satirizing the mundanity of the white collar working class Singaporean, where life is an endless cycle of transportation, work, home and 4D lottery tickets.

Check out their video '4444' and the other videos submitted. Do remember to place your votes.

There’s even an adaptation of Romeo and Juliet and a ‘fan film’ for In the Mood For Love....

Wow, talk about bizzare. Entertaining to say the least.

it'd be swell if the organisers fixed their own typos though. i'd hate to think that people thought we misspelt 'brizarre' and 'absurb'

we're glad you liked it, Eddy. tell all your friends about it! hahaha.

Yeah, they should have fixed the typos.

Loved it! Much better than the usual angst filled soaps Singaporeans seem to love directing.

AG - Honestly, if our entire audience consisted of people like you, I'd be the happiest person in the world.

thanks dude.

'brizarre'. Oops. I only fixed 1 or 2 typos. But I missed this out.
hur hur.

thanks lancerlord!!! :D

I like this one, very scary life/dream if you think about it. I like the attention to detail in the props, must've been alot of trouble getting all the 4's into the show

haha, it was. then again, it was also a pretty fun challenge.

did you see the 4s on the train? we spent nights rehearsing that, cuz we could only shoot on the empty trains from marina to raffles, and the travel time between the two stations was only 40 seconds.

so imagine. we had to paste the props, set up the shot, make sure bystanders weren't in the way, block actors, and shoot in 40 seconds.

it was hell, but it was also a heck lot of fun in the end ;)

thanks for the kind words, singaporeidler.
