CNA on AcidFlask

Two weeks after the Tomorrow.sg broke the news on AcidFlask and one week after foreign media catch it, local MSM CNA finally caught up with it. Tomorrow.sg should be renamed two-weeks-in-advance.sg

He allegedly criticised the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR)'s scholarship system, in his blogs. The former Public Service Commission scholar is said to have criticised some of its policies requiring scholars to meet certain standards. Chen claimed he was threatened with legal action, in emails from A*STAR's chairman Philip Yeo.

Are we not suppose to be heading towards a more open society with a gahmen more willing to listen to open discourse? Even though I must say that Acid Flask's method and style of expressing his viewpoints while confrontational, were by no means so damaging that it required such a blunt "hit on the head" response....

Whenever the ST or Mediacorp report on some trend, it's usually at least 2 weeks late. The exception is, of course, Today.
