Don't They Teach Math in School Anymore?

Indian Stallion said

Was reading in the papers on Friday about teens who pay exorbitant prices for clothing like T-shirts and jeans. We are not talking 100 to 200 dollars here, but rather insane prices like $1,300 dollars for a pair of jeans.

A Bathing Ape T-Shirt : $400
Neighbourhood jeans : $1200
A Bathing Ape trainers: $900
Bounty Hunter dog tag : $139
Bounty Hunger wrist band : $90
Supreme haversack : $250
Knowing the value of money : Priceless

[caleb] It's very sad that I never had this kind of lifestyle when I was a teen. Instead I had to make do with Calvin Klein, D&G, Louis Vuitton, Emporio Armani etc. They are all so uncool in retrospect. Sob sob sob.

I blame their parents and mentors.

They do teach Math in school. They just don't teach economics (The right kind, at least) until it is too late. P.S. I have to defend Math Teachers everywhere, they are made to teach trigo and stuffs like that all day long, not of their choice either.

Pity the kind of lifestyles my peers are going into. I never get the idea of those "Von Dutch" and "Bathing Ape" thingies they sell to teenagers as cool...

But then again d/l *free* stuff from the 'Net is kinda cool nowadays (depending on what *free* means to you...).
