Movie Ticket Petition

The good people at Polyguide have setup an online Movie Ticket Petition to protest against the recent hike in cinema tickets. They are asking all Singaporeans and other hobbits living in Sillypore to sign it so they can submit it to the 3 big cinema companies.

Zhi Yang writes:

This endeavor is really commendable. $9.50 to watch a film is really ridiculous. Poly students were all very concerned about this matter to the extent of imploring everyone to download movies and buy pirated vcds from JB, which I do not condone.

I mean why support the JB pirates? Get from TS la, they also sell pirated vcds le. (if you've never heard, TS was recently fined quite heftily for selling pirated lord of the rings vcds)
